First performed in a version for improvising viola da gamba and live electronics, Laminate explores the noise-making capabilities of an instrument. Closely-captured cracks, creaks and groans are brought together by the computer and dispersed around the audience, building up layered masses of immersive sound.

I am just starting to release it into the wild – at the moment it is with PETE FURNISS who is kindly doing some beta testing.
